This is a drawing I originally created for an art contest ( which didn't even place and was sent back to me).
Then after that I uploaded it on Fanart Central in December of 2012.
The title of this is called: "The Spirit of Water." I used pens and copic markers for this.
Simply put, this shows a water elemental creating a fountain and her legs are creating waves.
I originally wanted to use different colors for the waves and such because in art water is usually shown as just blue, which obviously isn't the case.
Behind her I just used a deep purple because I thought it helped her stand out more, and because I figured why not ?
I love, love, LOVE this! It takes me right back to my childhood, reminds me strongly of the Beatles' animated Yellow Submarine movie! Fantastic color choices and a psychedelic style. Amazing work!
