Safety Series: Corrosive

Share

Third in the safety series. Technically green is a neutral colour on the ph scale, however in any cartoon, a vat of acid is usually green so I thought people would associated green better than say red or blue.

I used a range of chemicals from under the kitchen sink and heated them to make the molecules more active. It ate right through the canvas in a flash.

In the future I might toy with the biohazard symbol/oxidising symbols but as you can expect getting hold of chemicals to reproduce effects isn't easy.

Used a paint wax mix, thought it looked like burns. I'm glad you like it :D
