Disney Paint-Over: Kida

Share

So here's my "paint-over" of a Disney movie still. The idea is you take a still from a Disney movie, and paint directly on top of it, using it as a base to make it into it's own painting.

This was my attempt, it's of Princess Kida from Atlantis. Quite a few hours was put into this, as it was a good exercise to work with values and pushing them to make things work better than before. I'm happy with how it turned out!

If you can't tell, the original is on the top, and my painted over version is the one on the bottom. Hope you guys at least get a kick out of it. Done for fun!

Amazing Paint-Over and soo much detail.

Ah thank you! :)

Wow really good transformation. Really nice work on the hair and everything else.

Rhunyc responds:

I appreciate that! :D

Amazing, the depth you've added is just unreal. The light from her necklace, and the hard points in the beam of light around her are perfect. Great work.

Rhunyc responds:

Thanks much! :) Glad you liked the depth I was able to add to it. :)

Great work, but at least you didn't Rule 34 it

Rhunyc responds:

Thank you! And yeah, I don't like having my views spiral too out of control. ;)
