The Blacksmith

I started this like, a month ago? Finished it up on a whim because i no longer have the motive to work on it.

this painting is very heavily referenced, colour and setting wise, off "The Legend of St. George" by Maximilian Liebenwein! (apologies for poor quality)

the intricate details of these fairy-tale paintings he did really fit the Blacksmith's vibes in my eyes. it was really fun to pluck the key elements of this painting and appropriate it for. CC purposes

fairy-tale illustrations just gel really well with castle crashers in my eyes, and I'd love to do more of this in the future when I'm not as tired

EDIT: WHAAAAAT THIS GOT FRONT-PAGED???? That's incredible holy crap!!! Thank you guys so much, there's plenty more to come

Note taken!

This is badass. I dig the relaxed tension in his pose.

rexibro responds:

AHH Thank you so much!!! Relaxed poses like these are sort of my forte, so I'm glad you dig it!

Awesome 10/10

rexibro responds:

Thanks so much!!

Love these! Congrats on front page! I do suggest using a higher resolution in the future though, I wanna see it in all that crispy detail!! <3

rexibro responds:

I'll definitely take this feedback on board for future reference! Right now I export all my files as PNG, but I'll definitely do some info-surfing around - as well as actual detail work in the future - to make all my art nice and crisp.
Thank you so much for your support and criticism dude!
