I actually did the sketch for this sometime last year when trying to come up with a bunch of sketch drafts. I feel like it gets close to the tone I have in mind for this kind of thing: Playful, light, cute, somewhat flirty, and silly. I came back across the sketch near the start of this month and decided I wanted to get a cleaned up version of it.

Forgive me for butchering languages and conventions I don't know, but the Jurassic-Park-inspired critters are referred to as Thumpers or Baersterosus Musculus, and the Mimiga inspired critters are referred to as Squee or Écraserlystus Cuniculus. I may swap the nicknames for the two, since the Baerst are the ones designed with the intent to favor pinning and crushing prey and chasing things while the other favor jumping and bouncing and using tools to float. I dunno.

The original sketch had much more evidence of bursting in it. If I ever end up paying a proper concept artist to give a refined take on this idea, I'll probably have that aspect added back in.
