Another of my North African research pieces in the build up to my final art exam =) This one was of a wooden window shutter I found a photograph of, again done in watercolour, but with a few more layers in an attempt to recreate some of the wood grain effect.
I have no idea what building or even which town the photo was taken in, but I loved it so much I just had to have a go at painting it! This was also because through the crafted holes in the window shutter, you could just about make out a building opposite.
