This was the second piece I did for my final GCSE art exam, after finishing what was meant to be my only piece halfway through the exam, I still had 4 and a half hours to fill. That night I had to frantically create something else to do the next day, and the opposite view from the arch in the first piece instantly came to mind.. and, well this is the result =)
Again it's a watercolour, with the basic outlines in pencil still visible (I love the effect/look of that!) Both pieces were inspired by Macke, who spent some time in North Africa, which was the main focus for the last module for my GCSE art. I always loved doing multi-cultural stuff, and I shall put a few bits of my "research" up soon as well.. though some were never 100% finished, or even all that polished in look.
