I actually didn't know what I was looking at for a moment, especially the face... I like the (possibly unintentional) effect of confusion because it makes your viewers look longer at it and take a moment to comprehend what it is they're looking at. The depth perception was an exquisite touch as well.
Pretty lineart as always. Hmm.. how do you do that blur? I assume you first make the parts sharp and add something to make it appear blurry? I tried it sometimes, but can't really get it right. Unless you draw with a blurry pencil?
I mash all my layers into one, import it into Photoshop, select the areas I want blurred and go to filter > blur > field blur, then adjust accordingly. Only just started playing around with it, hope that helps c:
