Amazing, but I can't help but wonder what media did you use?
Thanx man! I'm glad you like it! And I used marker on bristol board/paper.
VERY impressive. And a difficult medium, too. But three things: the perspective. It's not really working because the detail density in the water is the same in the foreground and background. Make things in the foreground larger (that includes ripples and shine spots, too). And add more details to things in the background (like more pits and edges on the rocks). Two: the rib cage. It's kinda jutting out too far. A little sharp where it meets the stomach. And the front of the ribcage has a rise that's actually very extreme (almost triangular) IRL. The one you drew seems very horizontal. The last thing is not rly your fault at all: the photo quality. It's really understating your colors and details, man. It doesn't do your work justice.
Yeah i noticed that at the bitter end but it was too late to turn back.(the shine spots) the ripples were hard because of the thickness of the marker. i got lazy with the rest of the background, i thought throwing in some color would help but guess not :P.the rib cage i knew something was wrong with it, lol i usually just cover it with big boobs( i take the easy way out). yeah i apologize about the photo quality i took the picture with my phone( epic fail.) i really do appreciate you for taking the time to critique my work.
wow very nice i like the texture
