Moon Patrol NewResolution Challenge

Author Comments

My submission for Jazza's January 2016 challenge of the Month New Resolution.
Game: Moon Patrol
Description: Moon Patrol was release by Irem in 1982, it was the first Parallax(side scrolling) game of its kind. It had a joystick and 2 buttons one for jumping and other for fire. When firing both cannon shot at the same time so you could hit land and air targets.
Designer: Takashi Nishiyama
Work in progress:
Wasn't crazy about the color choices to work with but I realized as I worked that they would have had and did(yes I did play this game in the Arcade in 1982) a sharp contrast with the martian environment. Few fails with the piece but I will let you figure those out.
Thanks Jazza for these Challenges otherwise I would never have attempted these. And a shout out to TheBoxOfficeArtist since I tried to use a decent amount of Rivets awesome robot tutorial with Jazza's site.
