How do you keep doing it? I love the atmosphere you set for this, sunset, serene, completely relaxing. Nothing like sitting back a spell and chilling for a few.
Pixel art, looks hella difficult to do. I wouldn't know much seeing as I have no artistic talent whatsoever, but I can appreciate a good piece when I see one.
Shading normally is pretty hard enough to portray correctly in regular drawn media and even the best artists have trouble with it sometimes, but in pixels? Damn.
Perfect use of those specific colors to portray that time of day btw. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the entire sky outside where I lived turned a deep red. Like those episodes in the old superman cartoons where he got stuck on a planet with a red sun. And it was 3 or 4 in the afternoon so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a sunset either because those are mostly bright orange. It was cloudy and rainy where I am and some family members told me that was natural because of the rain clouds and it happens sometimes albeit rarely. So seeing this reminded me of that. Pretty cool a phenomenon, if I do say so myself.
man sunsets/sunrises are like my favorite things to draw, every day brings a different sky with different set of colors, sometimes just a stare at the sky inspires me enough to move my lazy ass and make some stuff. i think shading in pixels with dithering most of the time is not that hard. once you start doing it, it becomes easier(and more tedious sometimes). glad you like it! ;D
Nice) a tad too much pink, but tastes are tastes
This is awesome! It would be cool if you scale it to 2px just to see the details you added.
It's the best time of the week! Man.. The atmosphere you created here is soooo relaxing. Feels gud man.
