The Destruction of Adam

Share

This is my submission for Jazza's February Contest of the Month "Pimp my Classic".

I wanted to do something in the present day and I figured Virtual Reality would fit the bill. A lot of thought and hours went into this piece. The main zombie I wanted to have long gray hair like the painting. The color schemes I wanted to somewhat coordinate with the original. I wanted it to transition from reality to virtual reality to give a sense of how far our technology has become, while still keeping the lines in the virtual world to really seperate the two realities. I've had so much fun doing this piece and hope you all enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

This is based on Michelangelo's original artwork "The Creation of Adam" painted in The Sistine Chapel c. 1508-1512.
