This is something that I was working on for like a month. It looks bad because I had to re-size it. That is why it looks so blurry too. I tried to sharpen the face a bit, but I gave up. Gimp ruined this picture far to many times and I've just given up.

Its a nice drawing but I think it would look nicer with a backround.
Also try adding shading to your drawings,It will make a difference.
