Tank Man

Share

Since I didn't have time to make a game for Robot Day, I decided to make a poster for a non-existent Robot Day game, a megaman clone using NG themed characters.

Featured Characters:

Dr. Bizarro Tom (featuring the evil beard)

Mecha Satan (castle boss)

Meat Devil (Castle Boss)

Crasher Man

Angry Man

Alien Man

Dad Man

Audio Man

Uber Man (and his clones)

Tricky Man

Clock Man

and of course, the title character, TANK MAN!

Here's some earlier concept sketches. I was planning on making this an actual game at one time, so there's a few companion designs in here that didn't make it into the final poster.

I went back and fourth between using the Synj and Madness style for Tricky Man. Ultimately decided the more clown-like design would be more of a fun boss robot.

I originally wanted Angreh Faice to be Angry Man's actual head, but changed him up because his bombs looked too much like his head. This let me make him beefier too so he could just be even more angry.

I pretty much stuck with my original designs for everyone else...

I actually think this layout would have been better for a legit game poster, but after designing all these boss robots, and knowing I wasn't going to make the actual game, I wanted to show their full bodies, so that's what you got in the end.

You should have included P-Bot.
It's because there is a game made by Lambta.Co.

I'd totally play this!

I would play this game

This is such a cool idea!
