I don't want to call it finished, but frankly I just don't have enough knowledge to keep pushing this. I wanted to add person on the right, but then I remembered that I suck at drawing people and decided against it.

I have no idea what I'm doing anymore.

Still, for only four or five months, I think I've come a very long way. I'm pretty happy.

Your background is actually quite beautiful. I think you're too hard on yourself honestly, and thats whats holding you back.

Thanks for the review! I might be too hard on myself, but if I settle for something I don't like I'll never get any better. I have to keep improving, so for now, I can never settle with something I don't truly like.

As long as I keep working at it, I think that anxiety will go away with time.

At fist, I imagined those flares of light were actually a character. The bigger one looks like a scalp, the underlying mountain at that area almost like a body, other flares as partial limbs. That impression died out rather quickly though. It's a beautiful background, detailed and serene, and the twisted angle is pretty interesting. Nice work!

ProbablySinged responds:

Thanks for the compliments!

Unfortunately I'm not quite at the level to get exactly what I wanted out of the flares, but that will come with time more than anything else.
