Waiting For The Scotsman

Share

I decided to divide the picture into four sections and do each section in a different style. I imagined a hobo at an old style train station, waiting for a train.

The top left panel was done using watercolor pencils.

The top right panel was done in an abstract style, and I used acrylic paint to do it.

The bottom left panel was done using a black scratchboard and a sharp tool.

And lastly, the bottom right panel was done as a regular pencil drawing.

nice work! This piece has an andy worhol feel to it! The portrayal of the image through 4 different mediums is effective and visually interesting, and you pull it off well. The proportions and solidity of the main figure could use some work, and the colors are slightly muddy, but the overall balance and sense of visual interest is strong and well done. Keep it up!

this is really kool....i like how you used the different mediums.
