Is that Sasha Zotova?

Hey, my sleep paralysis demon is on Newgrounds! Long time no see!

It has a strange appeal, all the single areas are looking sound but how they flow into each other reminds me of these AI things.

whoa i didnt recognize you at first
good to see your art again~

Ploobul responds:

I guess I'm back lol.

Interesting.
It looks a little bit like those AI paintings of animals, but with a bit more manufactured intention.
I like the glitch effect for the most part, but I recently read in passing that certain kind of blurry or shaky looking image actually wind up being funny.
Here that might actually provoke a nervous laugh, but it important to remember that the black and white movies filled with rubber monsters and cheap practical effect where scary to people at the time they initially premiered.
Even further back Nosferatu and Belegosi's Dracula which are hard for many to take seriously where compelling works at the time.
In many way I do think humans would be humans without fear, but how and what we fear shifts.
I certainly like this though, and sorry for getting caught in my own musing.
What types of canines did you use? IT looks a bit like Fox/Coyote/Wolf.
Also if are a fan of eyes I recommend checking out the Evil Eye butterfly species, and Eyespot patterns in general.
Thank you for making this
