My submission for robotday2010! (It's a different genre of art then the others, though...) Featuring all 6 Newgrounds bots with COL-LAB, and a Pika-Robo. I was working on these guys the first time I heard about Robot Day. I wanted to do a group shot (which would have looked a lot cooler) but it was physically impossible, so each got their own photo with a quarter for scale. But THEY ARE ALL PART OF THE ONE SUBMISSION, just as intended. Maybe later I will post them all next to each other laying down or sitting, just not standing. I tried to avoid a wall of text and extra-detailed descriptions this time around, I'll save that for their separate submissions. ;) Sorry for the fuzzy/dark quality, but it's the best I could do.
What do you think? Not exactly what I had in mind but atleast I made all 8 that I wanted to.

So this was pretty amazing work you have done here love all the different clay characters and the quarter to represent there actual size very good idea here on this piece I do however have an idea I think some added lighting on each clay piece would be a pleasure for this piece and think like a beam of light reflection off the robots would be cool but besides that this was pretty cool work

Probably the only reason I'm giving this such a high rating is because you managed to get everything done so perfectly! Come to think of it, that's a pretty good reason for giving something a high rating. What matters the most is that you perfectly captured so many classic characters! Every character looks just like what the perfect example of a clay robot would look like. I would LOVE to see a flash cartoon with these guys. That reminds me, it's been forever since Knox submitted something.
I think my favorite would have to be the F-Bot. That's probably because it's the largest and probably took the longest to make. I didn't know we had a Pikachu-esque robot. I like how they're surrounded by household objects, like change. It's a great sense of authenticness. You're a true tribute to clay creators all around!
Thanks for the review, The Pikabot is mine though. And just so you know, F-Bot is not the largest; A-Bot is the tallest and G-Bot is the heaviest of the 6 main bots. COL-LAB out-towers over everyone though.
