This character was exceptionally religious. Almost cult-like. He revered a god named "The Chained Mother", and her area of influence was gravity. Aster was able to manipulate gravity to great effect.
The player described one of his abilities as "Byakugan Senses", like from Naruto. And, I kid you not, made jutsu hand gestures.
