its not to small its actually more realistic ..hence the reason its not an anime drawing ..dont take any of that bad criticism you rock

Oink-Moo responds:

Haha thanks for the kindness. It's a matter of perspective I think, though I'm not sure exactly what causes it; some people think the cock is massive, others think it's tiny. Odd that they have an issue with that and not her weird face lol. Anyway thanks again. ;)

So I never look at NG art and I've never commented on it. I'm pretty much here for the anims but somehow, I stumbled on this. I really really like it! And, I wanted to leave something.

What I got out of it was that there is definitely romance/love in this sexual act. It's not a porno or one night stand to me. I just find that usually those one off experiences don't involve as much looking at each other in the eyes and far more focus on just the purely sensual parts of the body but she is clearly looking at his face here with the softest expression. I guess it could also be taken as the vulnerability of giving it all in one night as well but that's just not what I took.

It's actually a really cute scene to me. Like, the condom, the body hair detail, the fact that he's still wearing a shirt, the not ridiculous size of the penis- the realism of sex and not the idealism of sex adds to what you're trying to convey in a really profound way. I looked at a few of your other pieces you posted and they are good artistically and technically but I find this one especially unique because of the realism- the feel that this is probably just happening on a couch in a living room while the parents or roomies are out for the evening. I hope you do more of these.

Oink-Moo responds:

Wow, thanks! What a great review. :) Always nice to hear these kinds of things and I'm glad that you enjoyed this one so much. I really liked all the imagery that you included and the genuine insight into the piece, you are a true art appreciator and not just because you gave my art a good review. ;)

I'm glad that I could convey the intimacy involved in this piece effectively to you. I'll be trying to do more like these in the future because I really like them as well. Thanks again for your review!

Man, graphite is hard to work with (no pun intended).
Excellent detail.
But the hair (both head and pubic) is perfectly done.

Quite neat to see condoms in art- good for you. Anyhow, critique. The composition and the handling of the graphite are quite good. The only problem I see is the facial anatomy and your art is in that zone where I'm not sure if you want accurate anatomy or are happy with it being stylized. If you want to improve that I'd recommend studying facial proportions. You might like the ribbon technique for hair- draw the locks like they are ribbons rather than individual stands, then draw the lighting as it falls on the hair and the shadows that creates.

Oink-Moo responds:

Thanks for your critique.

I definitely do need to work on facial anatomy and hair, but rather than going for straight realism I'm sort of trying to move towards a pseudo-realistic comic kind of style. I will take your advice though and look into matters of anatomy further.

I've tried the ribbon thing with hair, it's a bit tough but I should probably just keep on it. Thanks again for the comment. :)
