Wanted to make a little Newgrounds signature since I'm starting to use them more often. It also gave me an excuse to try a different technique with Blender to see if I can optimize my CPU/GPU usage, by making a sketch in Krita, and importing it to Blender to add the lineart and everything else.
The result: Blender ran better when making the lineart, but there were times where Blender ran at like 5fps on my laptop when I was doing the shading on the characters. It all depends on how cool the CPU/GPU is when I'm working on it, but if it drops to 5fps when I'm drawing A PICTURE (not even a complicated one at that), then I don't want to know how it's going to perform when I try to make an actual polished animation.
All this to say that I'm not going to do any animations (or use Blender) until I upgrade my rig...for I think the fifth time now?
[I swear, it feels like I upgrade this shit every couple of months]
