"In the year 20XX there are supernaturals and norms. "Supernaturals" have been changed by their soulmorphisises,awakening to magic and their ancestral heritages as descendants of the mystical meta-human races. "Norms" are ordinary humans untouched by The Great Synchronization. While some of them coexist peacefully with supernaturals others fear them and hate them.

It is rumored the necro-covid virus "Covax 21' that can turn regular people into ravenous undead is spread by supernaturals. Though there is a mere 0.1% chance of people becoming flesh-eating ghouls upon contact with this particular variant it still is a concern for public safety at large. Leaked footage of rare patients mutated into violent zombie-like aberrations makes it onto the internet, sparking mass hysteria even though most people whom get sick from it fully recover within a week as if it is a common cold.

Geo-don well known for its pharmaceutical prowess creates a vaccine that can supposedly prevent the supernaturals from being super-spreaders of the potentially deadly Covax virus. However,the side effect is they lose their powers and sometimes end up comatose in a vegetative state,mere husks of who they once were. Geo-don has promised future better versions of the vaccine will be able to revert supernaturals back to the normal humans they had been before they changed.

Amidst this turbulent time the powerful reality bending witch Cassandra injects herself with the vaccine out of fear if her powers remain unchecked she could endanger innocent lives. There are unforeseen complications and she dies........

Grief stricken and enraged, Cassandra's lover Lucius (An ultimate being whom was originally created by a conclave of wizards to be the most powerful sorcerer and defender of Avalon) dons the mask of Samael whilst declaring war on humanity. Many supernaturals rally to his cause, worshiping Cassandra as their martyred Holy Mother.

Meanwhile as the same vaccine using a modified Covax strain is introduced to the norms as a further precautionary safety measure incidents of pandemic level reactions unexpectedly spike off the charts,hordes of newly created highly contagious hungry dead stampeding passed security check-points in record numbers......"
