"Back-roads"

Walking the back-roads where all the other forgotten

 ones dwell. Highways through abandoned yet sentient towns I know all too well.

Off to either side there are gnarled ancient trees. Fragmented asphalt and potholes complimenting the dead drifting leaves carried by a howling midnight breeze.

Wondrous mansions,intricate bridges,towering light houses,black floating pyramids,and carved tombstones made from the surreal architecture of borderland alternate realities. Where grim reapers and ferry men find displaced wandering souls after exceptionally unusual fatalities.

I am just a traveler coming through once more. From the whispering woods, troubadour trailer park, lodge of longings, and carnival of stillness all the way to the crimson coral shore.......

This is just me finding meaningfulness in the loneliness.........Sanctuary of solitude reanimating my wounded dying vessel with its' own special spooky brand of holiness...........

(It's kind of nice to once again be far away from scrutinizing hyper critical eyes. Dancing by myself under lavender skies.)
