Kaijune 2022 - Day 30 - Prompt: Carrion

Day 30! Hopefully I stuck the landing on this one. Was nice to draw some body horror lol.

Bio:

After a siege on the Corrupted King's flesh base by Crauziera, the leagues of infected he gathered together started to amalgamate after he'd been critically wounded. This shambling fusion of bodies living and dead human and animal flesh (nicknamed Carnucata) emerged from the mouth of the cave.

Surprisingly resilient and large, it seems that Carnucata has the ability to still control dead parts of its body, meaning that the only viable weaponry is that which can atomize the beast. By the time this was figured out, Carnucata had already escaped underground, and thus all future machines built by the Kaiju Defense Corp will be outfitted with some sort of flame weaponry.

Ever since escaping underground, smaller Carnucata have periodically surfaced, ranging anywhere from arm-like snakes to full-on humanoids akin to the ones in the "maw" of the original one.
