A note on the sword
An interesting work. Somehow the sword seems inaccurate, however--it bears a striking resemblance to Japanese designs, which (I believe) would not have overlapped with those of the Romans, who, as far as I know, favored the broad sword.
It wasnt supposed to b of japanese origin. It was supposed to be an elongated version of a Gladius sword
Great job! A little disproportionate, but nice color and I like the hatched background. You have a unique artistic style that I would like to see more of. Good luck in your work.
I realy enjoy your use of lighting and shading it gives this peice an almost dreamlike apearance. However i do think that his body looks a little out of praportion like the fingers. all though great work i will definatley check out more of your work.
His fingers are in the forefront of the image, its a piss around anyways
