One day, a long time ago, Shipsgrave coal miners refused to return to the surface. Some of their families moved into the mine too, to live there with them. No one has seen them since then, but as long as the townsfolk send down the supplies, they keep getting back the coal.

From my new side project "Welcome to Shipsgrave!", an anthology of Lovecraftian short stories told by a boy who moved with his dad to a strange place with fishy locals. Inspired by "The Shadow over Innsmouth".
