i saw this on jazza's showcase video awesome piece with great atmosphere well deserved feature on NG too :D
Very interesting piece. I especially love the lighting effects you have in play here. I enjoy pieces done from the further back vantage point; you can (and have) put in enough detail to illustrate the lay of the land, but still spare enough detail for the viewer's imagination to put additional elements into play.
Love the subject manner of the decay of human remains. I agree with Jazza that this would make a great desktop wallpaper. Little more detail in the wreckage and clouds would have made this just a little better, and perhaps a bit more lighting, amongst a few improvements for this piece. But you still did a superb job!
It could be on Mars 20.000 years ago when civilizations were on it... I didn't know that someone else was awared of that... Impressing.
Stop joking, reallly great peace here. I love it
I've gotta be honest, this is one of my favorite pictures shared with me so far (I've had around 60+ sent, and counting). It executes what its trying to execute, SO well. like, near perfect. It holds its ambiance with a great intensity, but with such incredible aesthetic that it feels almost effortless. This is the kind pf painting that I'd love as a HD desktop background as well, hehe. Anyhow, as an environment it feels like its yearning to be a story to be told, and it helps my opinion that red is my favorite color ;) REALLY great work. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!
Oh crap you replied! I must have notifications switched off somewhere because I never catch these.
Anyway thanks for your words I honestly wasn't expecting that so... yeah, thanks. :)
Really enjoyed the first show by the way.
