First Krystal Sketch

Author Comments

This is one of the first sketches I made of my character Krystal Snowpaw. Permission was granted from DaTroll at DeviantArt for me to try and play with one of his character's base forms. Credit to him goes along with this.

And I'm going to make a prediction, which will be revealed at the right time.

the eyes are pretty...

i hate to be a jerk, but anthro scares the shit out of me. the overall shape is decent, other than the short legs and arms. keep in mind that you're drawing a 1/4 angle, therefore, the left arm should'nt extend so far out. also, if you have to arch the back so much, then make sure the hips and legs match the theirr postion. i know what look you were going for, and you're halfway there. just work out a few proportion issues and you're good to go.

Actually one of the better pieces you've submitted. Couple of things i would change are just the arm length/thickness and the foot position (and the left arm is unnaturally bent at a weird angle. Relax more). See, this stuff is ok. The trying-to-sexualize-furry stuff is just not something i can objectively critique.

Colour is nice, shading is ok, lines smooth etc. But quick question.

Was this done on paper and then scanned, or done digitally and the paper drawn in? It boggles my mind.

MRGamer01 responds:

Well it seems you are capable of kindness afterall. Thats more like it. Actually it was drawn in my sketch book and yes I don't quite like the arm myself. It was actually colored by another user of DA and very well. I took this picture through Zoner (when It was taking up space on my Hard Drive) and applied a few effects like an old timey ripping. Please continue to use this level of kindness and maybe more doors will open to you. Please keep an open mind when sex is applied to the anthro side of art ok?
