quick picture I did based off a sketch I did in class

Awesome! I like that you show how loud the roar is by makings his face all squished and flung back. Keep up the good work.

this made me happy!

I'm not too sure what the monster thing is (frog?) but it looks quite cool. The detail you put into his eyes popping out and his nose and lips flailing to the side is quite hilarious. It shows who's the dominant character in that sketch and it's rather quite homourous. The shadows are marvelously done. My favorite part of this sketch is the eyes right out of their sockets.

MPoulter responds:

Can't say I'm exactly sure what the monster is either, but certainly some kinnd of frog gone wrong. My favorite part is the popped out eyes as well. The entire thing started out as a sketch in my notebook of a guy who's eyes were popped out.

That's just plain awesome.

Nice work! I love the concept, and the drawing itself is very well done. A few lines here and there could be smoothed and/or cleaned up a bit, and a background that shows a surrounding environment would've been nice, but everything else is great! Simple and cartoony, just how I like it. The facial expressions are hilarious!

MPoulter responds:

Thanks for the review. I left out a background because I didn't feel the drawing was necessarily worth of one. Plus I had just spent multiple days on my last picture and wanted to do something much simpler. Thanks again
