This is really good. Did you take a picture of it or scan it in? It kind of looks like you took a picture of it, but it would have turned out a little better if it was scanned. If it was scanned then ignore what I just said. :P It is kind of dark though and a little bit of light would have made it show up more clear.

I feel like it needs some contrast. Maybe a blue tiger or something fighting the dragon! Or some sort of basic color in the background to make it pop more.

I just looked to an image from google and tried to replicate it on paper. Sure I would have done it a lot better if it was scanned but well, wanted to try it out!
Thanks for the review!

Won't labour the point much, but I'd say a scanner would help you do justice to the quality of this a little more than a picture, as the lighting here's not the best.

The dragon though, is cool. Really like the use of the different tribal shapes to make its body, especially around the facial area and spine. There's a lot of outline detail in all the different little sections, and although some parts seem to fit together smoother than others (the right horn and tailpieces being points of contention), it has a pretty cool look to it.

A point of improvement would be more detail in the shapes themselves; maybe making some shadings to illustrate scales or have some kind of background...even having this on black paper instead of white would have made the dragon pop out a whole lot more. Failing that, maybe think about making the tribal even more complex than you have done, just adding to the intricacy that's already there. Nice work in general, though.

Looks good

A very nice drawing. I like how you just used some forms (well, tribals) and made it look like a dragon. I don't like most tribals as they mean nothing to me but I really like this dragon.

The only negative thing I can say about this picture is the rather low quality. The lights are just too dark. But I guess this is because you took a picture of your drawing. So the only advice I could give you here is that you should try to scan the drawings to improve the quality.

Not bad

I think that you need to get a scanner if this is done on a standard A4 piece of paper, since the lighting differences caused by the flash of the photography does take away from the piece a little.

Still, that aside and you still have a good looking piece overall - did you copy it from an external source, or draw it with no assistance, except for memory?

I think that the piece could possibly use more detail in the way of creating more effects of the scales, like the way that the traditional drawings of this type tend to look. Still, a great start.

Dragoons!

-Well at least this one makes a lot more sense to me since in Japan there is a lot of folk lore about dragons and how they would come down and terrorize the people of the nation just for kicks and giggles. From a broad view it looks decent and i've always loved the "Dim the Lights" feature since pictures look great in the dark.

-Red is one of the more prominently used colors for dragons that i've noticed. I honestly would of liked to see the dragon maybe have a two toned look by having the outline be a different shade of the same color or even a different color. Just something to give the dragon a little depth even though it's obviously drawn like flat since it's stenciled.

-The outline of the dragon is very smooth for the most part. There is some obvious faults in the snout of the dragon and it's claw that is separated from the body in the sketch. They could of been touched up a little before the coloring was done since they look a little off compared to the quality of the rest of the drawing.
