You've done fairly well here :) The painting style you have going on here lacks solidity, the edges are somewhat unrefined, but inside and on the outer edges of the shapes/characters. Don't be afraid to have some hard edges and contrast where they're needed Ignorant of lines). Overall you've done well, thanks for sharing, keep up the good work :)
