I guess she has congenital analgesia. Otherwise the damage to the body would risk bordering catastrophic (even if it were empty gas or air, the amount of PSI required on her arteries to keep it in a controlled space would just makes it even worse). Talking would probably be a far cry for a normal person, that isn't a scream of agony. But maybe I'm misunderstanding the hook, as to the appeal and allure of inflation stuff. Artwork is pretty good quality though in and unto itself.
