The Return of the Living Dead (1985) is a freaking awesome movie and I can't describe how much I love it so I'm just going to show it with this poster I made in about four days.

This poster is basically an excuse to do a James Karen portrait.

I had so much fun doing this piece and I hope I make at least one person watch this masterpiece of a film!

This is sick. I like that you posted your progress from start to finish too. Great work!

Really nice

The pixel like art is awsome you have some great detail and the pixel really comes out alive, very nice visuals here, no changes needed on this beautiful piece here, So this will be my Extended part of the review, because you seem to have the Desire as Accustomed to your art style, So I like your style here

HELL YES!!

Great stuff. Great movie.
The only thing I think got lost was just how gross looking the tarman is.

Miroko responds:

I can't agree with you more! I want to make him look more droopy haha
After uploading this and sleeping on it is when it hit me. d:

Do you sell prints? If so, I'd gladly buy this or commission an Escape from New York or The Thing poster :D

Miroko responds:

No plans on selling prints at the moment but I'm interested in doing more of these kind of pieces. I grew up on Carpenter's films and I'd love to do some of his films.
