Very nice work on the shading and lighting. But, there are aspects of this that take away the realism.

Originally called texture, light and shadow study, I thought to name him something better and he reminds me of cashiers at drugstores and big surface stores. I wanted to know how far I could go without references and I'm pretty surprised how good it went and how fun it was.
