Big O! It's Showtime!

The Big O was a pretty awesome show. Confusing and cryptic, but awesome. Gotta love giant robots.

great piece of the show,
just this one thing that's burning me away. I never saw Dorothy express emotion before was that intentional?

MikeLuckas responds:

nah, I just didn't draw her face very well. I meant for her to have the usual blank stare, but she wound up looking angry.

My god this is just amazing. I f you can't tell from my icon, I love Big O, so therefore
I am probably biased, but I digress. This picture is simply put "the shit".

When I first saw this on the front page, I *had* a Big O.

You did an extraordinarily great job of capturing the characters and "look" of the series. I really like how you angled the shot to show the immensity of the Megadeus.

NICE WORK
keep up the good work

The best anime series I've ever seen. The picture is fantastic but I would have liked time of day to be at night, just to give it that old school Noir feel. Not a downside because it's still so very awesome. Like Megas XLR fanwork, this brings back some nice moments from the past.

MikeLuckas responds:

a nighttime scene would have required a lot of under-lighting and might have made things a bit too dark, given how much black everyone wears, haha. I was also more familiar with the 2nd season, which if I remember correctly had most of it's fights take place during overcast gray skies.
