There is a lot to say about the Star Wars prequels. Despite their many flaws, I have always found the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker to be extremely compelling. So much so, he is easily my favorite Star Wars character. Well, him and Darth Vader if you consider the two to be separate entities. The 2008 Clone Wars cartoon only furthered my love of the character, as it fleshed out his character perfectly. It gave us time to get to know the charismatic Clone Wars hero that the movies only gave us a taste of in the first half of Episode III, while also giving him more reasons to distrust and eventually betray the Jedi Order.

So, yeah, I drew this because I love Anakin and there isn't enough art of him on NG. I even attempted shading, so I actually put in some sincere and thought-out effort here, even it it might not look like I did. Hopefully you'll like it.
