Get it's probably the most iconic pairing in gaming, but as weird as it sounds I kinda prefer him with Vivian or Goombella from Thousand Year Door. Though that might be my bias for that game as a pillar of my childhood showing.

Not weird at all, it's actually surprising how little love these two get! But I getcha completely, TTYD had some great character dynamics and I mean... Goombella's so cute. Little goomba eyebrows. Can't resist.

oh my goshhh I love the idea too, it's like they're bonding a little bit more every time he saves her but they're not sure what to do when it comes to their feelings growing into more and it's really really cute!!
and look at Mario's little blushy cheeks, he looks so precious in that second panel :'D
I also just love how you did Peach's hair?? your way of drawing curls is just RIGHTEOUS ok

YESSS I love the idea that they just get together casually for tea and cake sometimes and it's all this comfortable silence because they just enjoy eachother's company when it's not all the thrill of adventure and hnnn they make me happy ;v;
