some clouds

I haven't done anything in like literal decades so I decided to stay up late even tho I'm waking up in a few hours to finish this painting-- I don't work with clouds too much so it was really good practice. also!! I recorded myself painting so I should have that up on youtube p. soon (I'll link it in a post or something).

this is well done. its just not much. this is a great background. this would be a lot better as a component of a complete work. or maybe just add something, like a bright sun with long beams and rays or a child dream flying and running his hand through the fluff.

aah, thank you for your comment. c: I'll keep that in mind next time i do some more environmental work!

For a couple of clouds, it's actually a really well done piece. However, I would've loved to see more of the landscape though, maybe it could've gone along well with some grassy mountains and the sun in accordance with the shadows of the clouds would've been neat to see as well. Keep up the good work though and be sure to check out my art as well!

meloramylin responds:

hey, thanks a bunch! c: I totally agree, at one point I think i was going to make it a bit wider but I never thought about like mountains and a valley with cloud shadows (that would have been rad as heck)! I'll keep that in mind though because that kinda concept really excites me. but thanks again, right back atcha!
