First off, happy July 4th to my american friends and patrons!

Second, for those of you who know about my new 'flavor of the month' listing thing here on Patreon for requests, if you needed any evidence of the kind of quality you get when it's a piece I'm as excited for as the patron, this here is probably a fantastic example XD

For the longest time I'd had an idea with some friends about making a totally all american Dark Samus redesign, considering her heritage as the only American made character in Metroid. We kicked around some ideas, from the biker jacket, to the big, messy sex hair ponytail, to the cowboy boots...and of course the big star spangled Phazon hooters lol.

Anyway, sadly the idea seemed doomed to stay an idea, since patron jobs kept me too busy to do it...until one of my $70 patrons, who was a bit uncertain of specifics, asked me if I'd be interested in doing something Dark Samus-y.

Seizing the opportunity, I pitched the idea, he agreed, and BAM! 

MISSION SUCCESS

And everyone went home happy that day~

I actually made two versions since I couldn't decide which color palette I liked more, check em both out on my patreon for free! It's minor, but I'll leave it up to you guys XD

Overall, I am 120% happy with this, it came out super unique, and very much 'me' in a sense and I couldn't be happier.
