used to be different before Orphix Venom! You'd just pop out where the animation ends instead of the camera snapping to a spot some meters before it.
Yeah i think like 90% of the community agrees on the fact Void sling is just bad. i have taken a bit of time to get used to it and it feels okay but there is no arguing its a lot slower and has a lot of issues with collision. but it looks like a case of DE digging in their heels and we are stuck with it now. my hope is for a toggle or maybe have one imput (like the double jump way) be sling and the normal way be dash so people can enjoy both? idk just hoping for some kind of change.
Yeah it seems like this is their new vision for it and they're gonna design the game around it. Can't wait for some future painful platforming section to show how the more precise sling is so much better than void dash would've been in that situation. :P
