Not bad.
This month, I am starting a drawing project that involves five of my favourite Iron Maiden singles.
Number 5: Die With Your Boots On
Straightforward to the piece of mind, Die With Your Boots On is a song that foretells on religious zealots who predict the end of the world. Lead singer, Bruce Dickinson makes the point that people have been predicting the end of times for centuries, yet we are still alive as normal. I took the idea of this song that represents the head of the band's mascot, Eddie, getting his head cracked open from a curb stomp of a cowboy boot. His broken head reveals a human brain squashed down from a heavy blow.
Not bad.
Call me a normie if you will, but I like the cover by Sonata Arctica more.
