This month, I am starting a drawing project that involves five of my favourite Iron Maiden singles also known as "Maiden March Art Project"
Number 4: Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter
This was notably the second Maiden song I heard from the television; the first song being Number of the Beast, I was nine years old at the time when I got to tune into Kerrang Channel. Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter was released in the eighth album, No Prayer For The Dying, the song itself sounded like a horror show with its brooding tone. The heaviest blast from the guitar made a dead give-away for an intro whereas Bruce is yelling about slaughtering their daughters was extremely brutal to hear. It may not be the greatest hit for those listeners but it deserves to be underrated since this was the first metal song to reach number one on the UK charts ever.
