I’m still saddened and surprised that he’s gone. His voice is what I always would think of when I imagine Batman just like Mark Hamill’s voice is what I would always think of when I imagine The Joker.
"Without Batman, crime has no punchline."
I feel livid when the news reveals Kevin Conroy, the man who voiced between Bruce Wayne and Batman in the original animated series, had passed away due to a following battle with cancer. I was deeply upset to the point that the only thing came up to my head is the Joker mourning to his last cowl and cape. Kevin Conroy had worked entirely with Warners Bros for the spectacular voice acting in several medias and other side project to an immediate success for DC Universe. He's been there for three decades, returning the same darkest voice like he is the night himself. The way Kevin made his voice as Batman sounded mature, demeanour and edge-gripping to reiterate his vengeful side that made his Batman character strong and human. I decided to draw this tribute of Conroy's passing featuring Joker crying over a coffin which the Batman's cowl and Cape was lying in his resting place, directly inspired by the episode "The Man Who Killed Batman"
Atleast, we have Mark Hamill as long as he is still living today.
I’m still saddened and surprised that he’s gone. His voice is what I always would think of when I imagine Batman just like Mark Hamill’s voice is what I would always think of when I imagine The Joker.
Goodbye Mr.Conroy....Heaven now has the protector they Need and Deserve.
Conroy was the man, the actor, the interpretation of Batman during a three-decade performance on several medias.
He and Jason David Frank will be remembered dearly!
Always, mate.
