The Saazastrum Tournament is an age old tradition from yesteryear that was never phased out. Originally used to instill fear and quell boredom in the Malaaki Empire, the Ministry of Casters and the Council of Nine agreed these magic duels would be a good place to keep entertaining the masses. In the acolyte division, if you prove your worth in a magical duel, you may earn the title of your respective field, whether it be Sorcerer, Wizard, or Magus. Today, Acolyte Udo Malaaki faces off against the talented Mathemagician Acolyte Pythagatha. But Udo doesn't seem too thrilled about being here, almost like he was coerced by a handsome devil-may-care mentor. It's probably nothing.
