Beautiful yet boring.

Boring in the sense that I suspect that just as much effort went into it as your Author Comment. There are filters and generators that can produce effects like these quite easily on most digital painting programs, such as the flame rendering on GIMP. It could have been as simple as you searching through a picture list of randomly-generated effects, and saying "I like this one". The marks I give generously are for the fact that the picture does have a pleasing quality to the eye and does have some balance, but again I suspect that you did not have too much thought in it. Of course, if I'm totally wrong and you painted each brush stroke manually, please forgive me, and let me know so I give you a better vote.
