I spent a lot of time studying Kazuo Oga's traditional background art from Studio Ghibli for this piece. Looking at it now, I can see many things I'd do differently, but I'm still proud of how it turned out!
The lighting and shadows are beautiful in this piece! Really makes it all feel magical.
