Author Comments

This was the result of my first time using real paints.
Acrylic on Canvas, 10x10.

Comments and Critique are appreciated. I always respond. Yes, I know it kind of sucks.

oh my gosh!

This is so cute and weid, I just love it.
Especially since it's painted on an actual canvas and it was you first. I can imagine, that I would do so bad, that I'd burn the picture afterwards... xD
I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy it and hang it on my wall by the way!
As for the painting itself:
He seems to be the kind watermelon-king floating through the night and watching his beloved kingdom. I love the backlighting and I would see the background as a stylized kind of needle forest. It also could be sharp green rocks, which would change the mood of the whole piece in an instant.
Make more like this, please!!

PS:Have you done some other acrylic paintings by now?

The character has a simple design with a simple color this good.

But I would like to see the character without coating I would like to see a picture of full body character.

Luxembourg responds:

I might do another piece with him, and that's a good suggestion for how to portray him. I think I'll do the next one digitally.
Thanks for yet another review, Mindmaster.
