Okay I have Finished Her!! This piece was done for an upcoming art event in my area it's a portrait of Mary (of Jesus' mom fame), as requested/suggested by my dad.

I'm ofc not catholic, but there's a decent amount of catholics in my area, and I'd rather do catholic imagery than appropriated native american imagery (the other thing that sells well around here)

Obviously we don't REALLY know how she actually looks, but it was important to me that she actually look like a jewish/middle eastern woman from that era, and not just a serene white lady like how she's usually depicted.

She looks like she could be from my family :)

I attempted to make the hair have kind of a stained glass look- not sure how well that actually turned out though...
