I hate opening up finished pieces but I'm kind of glad i did for this one. The city painted over the Frank Rizzo mural the other day as a first step in healing the racial tension that has been bubbling for years, now the city can begin to move forward.
I had originally deleted the original pixel art of this, i was frusterated with all that was going on and i was no longer proud of it anymore. I decided today that in order for ME to heal i should too paint over it. So i did, and i'm glad that its able to live once again in the open. You can see the old ones below for the sake of capturing everything. You should also look up Frank Rizzo on your own to see how he fits into philadelphia's history and how polarizing he became as he came to power. The end!
