Once again, Happy Canada Day to our Neighbors of the North of the border

Today marks the 155th birthday of the Great White North. To Commemorate this day; I draw this art piece of one of Canada's first superheroes in the comic book industry; Nelvana of the Northern Lights, she's also one of the first Indigenous superheroes. She's An Inuit mythical demigoddess who has super human abilities, drawing on the powers of her father, Konniak; she can fly at the speed of light , she can communicate by using telepathy, she can melt through metal and disrupts radio communications, she could even turn invisible as well as change into her physical form. She has dedicated her life to fight crime and to forces of evil, even disguise as a mortal secret agent during WWII, Alana North.

She has a Cultural Legacy in the Canadian comics industry.

There's even a entertainment median company named after her; Nelvana Ltd.
